"I preached faith tonight."
I am amazed at how closely this year mirrors last year. I preached the Wednesday service this week as well.
I look at that statement and really there is no other way to preach. It is a simple gospel that must be believed and received.
I love what Peter Bohler said to a discouraged John Wesley, "Preach faith till you have it; and then, because you have it, preach faith." There is no other way to please God than by living a life of faith. If that is true then we need more simple faith preaching!
