Read that aloud and let it sink in. Make it your declaration that flows into gratitude. Stop and meditate on what makes God good to you. How has He been faithful?
Some of my favorite scriptures are the short but powerful ones. Three little words that pack a dynamite punch are 'God is faithful.' He is faithful because He is good and He is good because He is faithful.
When we realize this truth it builds gratitude and love in our hearts. From a grateful loving heart we serve Him and imitate Christ. The wonderful thing about all this is that when, not if, trouble arises we have a good God who is faithful to His word to rely on. He will carry us through every trial. He will give us grace to endure. We can go to Him and receive the strength we need.
Take time today to speak this over your life and even share with some one His goodness and faithfulness. Then look for ways to serve Him and reflect His faithfulness and goodness back to Him.
How has God been faithful and good to you? How can we grow in our faithfulness and goodness back to Him?
